Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we were unable to take part in the Womens Mini Marathon “Lydia’s Run” this year.
We have decided to dedicate the month of October to Lydia’s Run… so if any of you out there would like to do a 5km walk or run and make a donation towards the upkeep of “Lydia’s Place” it would be great. Maybe you would share a photo with us and nominate a friend or two to join in!
Lydia’s Run is in Memory of our Dear friend Lydia who left this world far too early.
Lydia’s Mom and Dad, Louise and Denis O’Mahony decided to support and fundraise for a place in Our Deaf School where the children could simply “BE”, to have space for themselves, to discuss how they were feeling, to learn through fun, to have some one on one time with the teachers.
A place where their whole self is looked after not just their education. We call this Place “Lydia’s Place”!
