Please help us this Christmas to provide food parcels for the poor families of the village of Ambo. We want to help them to celebrate a ‘Melkam Gena’ – ‘Happy Christmas’ this year. All donations will make a big difference for these families.

Please help make this Christmas fun and exciting for the students and families of ALDS.

We are asking you to create fun videos of yourself and your friends for us to share with the students and families of ALDS on Ethiopian Christmas Day (January 7th).

Think of it like a talent show – but remember, your audience includes some people who are deaf so be creative in ways you can interpret your singing to keep your performance inclusive for all.

Try singing and signing, dancing, performance art, mime, magic tricks or anything else you can think of — we have some examples below to get you started.

Please note that all video submissions received will only be viewed by the members of the EDP organisation, the teachers and children at the ALDS and their families. The videos will be used for educational purposes. In no way will these videos be used outside of their intended purposes. Your privacy and security are of the upmost importance to us. Conor Cahill is walking from London Bridge, UK to Blauses Wunder Bridge in Dresden, Germany to raise money for charities, including us, the Ethiopia Deaf Project.

3. Upload the video using the ‘upload your submission’ at the bottom of this page.

We will then send your message to the children at the ALDS. Your positive affirmation will help inspire the children and empower them to know just how valued and loved they are.
